My name is Brent Sawyer, after guiding on the Salmon River for 18 years, my wife and I got the opportunity to become outfitters.  We purchased BRG in the summer of 2015 and are excited for our new business.  We balance a busy schedule of raising kids, smokejumping in the summer, and fishing in the fall/spring.  We look forward to seeing you on the river.  Backcountry River Guides specializes in steelhead fishing the most remote water in the lower 48.  We offer fully guided day and multi-day trips, fly fishing and gear fishing.
